Alluvi Glow combines one copper peptide associated with skin research and two experimental “repair” peptides. It is marketed around skin appearance, healing and physical recovery—but those benefits have not been clinically proven for this combined product.
What each ingredient is thought to do
- GHK-Cu: Binds copper and affects signalling involved in collagen production, tissue remodelling and inflammation. Laboratory and ex-vivo skin studies have found increased collagen expression, which explains its use in topical cosmetics. However, a small human study found no significant objective improvement from a GHK-Cu skincare regimen after laser treatment, although users reported greater satisfaction. - BPC-157: Cell and animal studies suggest effects on blood-vessel formation, cell migration and wound repair. Human evidence remains extremely limited: one safety study involved only two people, and there is no validated formulation or established human dosing regimen. BPC-157 pilot study
- TB-500: Marketed as a fragment related to thymosin beta-4, a molecule involved in actin regulation, cell movement and tissue remodelling. Most supportive research concerns thymosin beta-4 in cells or animals—not commercial TB-500 injections in humans.
